Why us
An undercounter ice maker needs the right water flow, drainage, cooling and harvest cycle to make clear ice consistently.
Water supply, drainage, cooling and the harvest cycle are checked together. We diagnose the cause, not just the symptom.
Water valves, pumps, sensors and ice-making components are matched to the exact ice maker model before replacement.
A firm price on site. It does not change once work starts.
Parts and labor, in writing. Same fault inside that window and we return at no charge.
Doors and drawers carrying custom millwork come off and go back without marking your cabinetry.
A leaking or stalled ice maker deserves prompt attention. Appointment availability is checked including weekends.

The customer requested service for the undercounter ice maker.
The repair centered on the water valve, which controls the supply entering the ice maker. The appliance is installed beneath the counter behind a matching cabinet panel. An inlet valve must open for the fill cycle and close fully afterward. Service access therefore needs to account for both the water connection and the valve's electrical leads, with attention to keeping the undercounter area dry after the new valve is fitted.
The service involved replacing the ice maker's water valve. Two refrigerators also received maintenance during the same visit. The water supply was handled at the service connection while the valve was changed, and the wiring was reconnected to the replacement. The appliance was then returned to its installed position with the supply connections accessible for a water-fill and leak check.
Water inlet valve replacement; six-month service warranty.
The ice maker filled and operated normally after the valve repair. The water connections were checked for leaks, and the appliance was ready to make ice again.

Water was leaking onto the floor around the refrigerator and freezer, raising concern about damage to the flooring.
The installation has separate refrigerator and freezer columns. Service focused on the freezer's ice maker and the valve that supplies it with water. Debris and staining were present in the lower machinery area, which needed attention during the leak repair. The ice maker needs a controlled fill from the inlet valve, followed by freezing and ice release. Attention to both assemblies was appropriate because water can escape from supply connections or an ice-maker fill problem without a failure in the refrigerator's separate cooling circuit.
A replacement ice-maker assembly was installed, with its wiring connector adapted to the appliance. The water inlet valve was also replaced in the lower compartment. This work addressed the water supply and ice-making components involved in the service visit. The valve connections and adapted ice-maker wiring were secured as part of fitting the replacements. The lower service area was tidied so the water connections remained accessible and any fresh moisture could be noticed during the final check.
Ice-maker assembly; water inlet valve; wiring connector preparation.
The freezer's ice-making equipment was back in place and working normally. The water connections stayed dry during the check, leaving no fresh water around the base.

Model: CL4850UFD/O
The refrigerator's ice maker had stopped making ice.
Service required access to the refrigerator's upper control compartment. The main control board was the component selected for replacement, along with maintenance. The main board coordinates appliance functions and can interrupt ice production even when the ice-maker hardware is otherwise intact. Access through the upper service area allows the board connections to be inspected and the replacement fitted without confusing this fault with a separate water-supply repair.
The main control board was replaced, and the refrigerator received maintenance during the same service. Electrical plugs were transferred carefully and checked for secure contact. The control area was reassembled, then appliance response and ice-maker operation were checked as the refrigerator returned to service.
Main control board; diagnostic service; refrigerator maintenance.
The refrigerator controls responded normally, and the ice maker was working again. The customer could use the appliance without the earlier interruption to ice production.

The freezer was building up frost, food was not staying evenly frozen and the ice maker had stopped making ice.
The freezer fan was not moving enough cold air. Frost had spread around the rear and upper sections and frozen the door switch in its closed position. The ice maker had failed, and both retainers that hold the lower basket in place were damaged.
The freezer fan and ice maker were replaced, and the frost was removed. Both lower basket retainers were renewed before the compartment was reassembled. The service included checks of air circulation, the door switch and the ice-making cycle.
Freezer fan; ice-maker assembly; left and right basket retainers; frost removal; freezer maintenance.
The freezer kept food evenly frozen again, and the ice maker completed a normal cycle. The drawer basket was secure, and the frost problem did not return during the final check.

The ice maker was not working.
The service covered the ice-maker assembly and water-fill area, along with the refrigerator door gasket and the supports holding the upper grille. Door adjustment and maintenance were also needed. The gas springs support the upper grille and are unrelated to the ice maker's electrical operation. The gasket and door alignment also needed their own service attention, so the visit combined ice production, door closing and safe access to the upper compartment.
The work included ice-maker replacement, door-gasket replacement and door adjustment. The upper grille gas springs were replaced as well, and the appliance received maintenance. Each task addressed a different part of the refrigerator rather than one shared fault. The ice-maker area was attended to alongside the door gasket and alignment work. New grille supports were fitted at the upper service opening, and maintenance was completed before the access areas were restored. The appliance's closing action, grille movement and ice-making response were checked separately.
Ice-maker assembly; door gasket; grille gas springs; door adjustment; maintenance.
The ice maker was working again, the door closed evenly and the upper grille was properly supported. Those everyday functions were checked after service so the customer could use the refrigerator normally.
Common faults
An undercounter ice maker needs the right water flow, drainage, cooling and harvest cycle to make clear ice consistently.
Water supply, filter, inlet valve, sensors and the ice-making cycle are tested in sequence.
Restricted water flow, warm ambient conditions or a cooling issue can reduce output.
Water quality, scale buildup and fill problems can change ice appearance.
Supply fittings, drain lines and internal tubing need a careful leak check.
A blocked drain or failed pump can leave water in the bin.
Pumps, fans and moving harvest parts may each create a different sound.
Airflow, water control and temperature sensing can contribute to excess frost or ice.
The fault indication is checked against the model before components are replaced.
Something else in the kitchen acting up? The technician is already there, so the second unit is looked at on the same visit.
